European Climate Foundation: 
Better without boilers

Visual identity and website design, working with developers.Better without boilers is a campaign by ECF which focuses on the phasing out of fossil fuel burners, in favour of more sustainable options.
 
I worked on this project at Noble Studio as a lead designer with Becky Smith. We developed a visual identity based on a gradient effect, which used colours inspired by gas flames, and to represent a transition from one option to another. 

Considering the user journey of the site was at the forefront of our design process as we had a complex multi-layered datasets, with several variables. We opted to produce interactive maps where the viewer could click through different filters to uncover more information about bans, subsidies and heat pumps.

We wireframed the whole site and conceptualised the data visualisations and interactivity. Good praxis developed our concept into an interactive site.
