A New Direction
Place Strategy
A New Direction works to enhance the capacity and agency of children and young people in London to own their creativity, shape culture, and achieve their creative potential.
At the end of each year, they creatively share their strategy and findings. I worked with Becky at Noble Studio, together we came up with the place based visual concept of a fairground, where each element of their strategy was represented within smaller scenes in the fairground.
Diversity, inclusion and accessibility were key factors in the project, especially as AND’s work holds this at it’s core. I designed the report, and implemented advanced accessibility settings, allowing the document to be fully accessible and screen read.
The illustration, by Becky, was animated by me at the end of the project.
